Where Fun Meets Purpose

It was an exciting and memorable Tuesday, 21st October 2025, as Princess Elizabeth Primary School opened its doors for this year’s Open House CCA Recruitment Drive and the Primary 2 students came together to explore the many CCAs the school had to offer.

Highlights of the day included lively performances and activities by the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade, and a fun-filled puppet show by the talented BBPC Puppet Team that captivated the crowd.

BB/GB Chaplain, Michael stated that everyone had a great time learning, sharing, and discovering new interests.

BB/GB companies brought energy and creativity to the event according to BB volunteer, David Yapp, and he also gave a big shout out to the P6 BB and GB students who helped run the activities and made the experience even more memorable.

GB volunteer, Sherry reflected that the children were inspired by the message of support in helping them learn new skills, serve the community, and shine as unique stars and future leaders. It was a day filled with smiles, creativity,

and inspiration, showing how every girl can grow, give, and glow in her own special way!

Susan, one of the puppeteers found that hiding behind the curtain, was not an easy job, as she couldn’t see the audience and every line depended on careful listening and quick responses. Yet in that hidden place, she learnt that serving isn’t about being seen; it’s about showing up with joy and faithfulness. In those small challenges, she felt that God met her and turned those challenges into laughter and connection, and reminded her that He is at work behind the scenes.
